"Gaming & Fellowship Like The Old Days"
Mumble for the voices, message boards for the chatter, books & games for the soul. Cozy by nature.
Learn what drives Jinx and Tonic and why our members call this watering hole home.
Founded on Halloween of 2026, Jinx and Tonic was established to create a true sanctuary outside modern noisy platforms. We craved that classic, nostalgic web community vibe where members actually know each other.
We operate through our website, dedicated Mumble server, and active message boards. We play featured community-voted games and casual side titles purely for fun, relaxation, and genuine friendship without quotas or forced rosters.
From gaming sessions and monthly book reads to pet photo sharing and friendly chatter over drinks, our space is built to foster lasting friendships across shared interests.
We keep things classic. No noisy modern chat platforms—just clear voice and real forum threads.
Our primary voice client is a lightweight, low-latency Mumble server. Whether we're running RPG dungeons, hanging out late at night, or discussing our monthly book selection, Mumble gives us dedicated, clutter-free audio channels.
Our message boards are where our community history is written. Featured game discussions, Monthly Book Club threads, game recommendations, hobby sharing, and pet photos live here permanently.
We recruit the person, not the pixels or gear score. Here is what we look for in future community members.
"We join Jinx and Tonic by choice, to share games, books, and good company. Every member deserves respect and a voice."
